Inyatsi Leadership Forum 2026
January 17, 2026The Clinic Group (TCG) joined the global community in observing World AIDS Day on the 1st of December, hosting a meaningful candle-lighting ceremony at Mbabane Clinic under the theme ''Overcoming disruption, transforming the AIDS response''. The service brought together Managing Director Ms. Gcinekile Nxumalo, Mbabane and Manzini Hospital Manager Dr. William Tsikisayi, Nurses and staff from across the organization to remember those who have lost their lives to HIV and AIDS, while reaffirming TCG’s commitment to driving progress in Eswatini’s health sector.
The ceremony created a moment of reflection and unity as attendees paid tribute to loved ones, community members, and patients affected by HIV. It also highlighted the remarkable journey of HIV treatment in Eswatini and around the world. Leaders reflected on how, in the early 2000s, people living with HIV often had to take numerous tablets every day, an emotionally and physically draining routine. Today, advancements in antiretroviral therapy (ART) have resulted in single-tablet regimens, greatly improving adherence, reducing stigma, and enhancing the quality of life for many.
