I also acquired experience in medical claims during my tenure in the insurance sector.
Question: What does leadership mean to you, and how would you describe your leadership style?
Answer: To me, leadership is about inspiring and empowering others to achieve their best. I firmly believe that the future lies in transformational leadership. This approach not only inspires and motivates individuals to reach their full potential but also fosters a culture of innovation and collaboration within organisations. Question: What are the core strategies you have implemented to achieve this?
Answer: Key strategies I have implemented include investing in staff training, adopting cutting-edge technologies, and fostering partnerships with local and international health organisations. These initiatives enhance our service quality while promoting sustainable growth. It can be challenging to find the right balance, particularly due to our dedication to achieving outstanding patient outcomes. We aim to provide efficient care that promotes optimal results for our patients.

Question: As a woman leading one of Eswatini’s leading private healthcare institutions, what does this role represent for you in the broader context of healthcare development in the country?
Answer: As a woman in a first-world healthcare institution, my role represents a significant step forward in healthcare development. Healthcare is fundamental to the success of all thriving nations. I have been granted the opportunity to contribute to the development of our country as we strive to realise His Majesty’s vision of a first-world nation. True success begins with a healthy population.
Question: How does The Clinic Group contribute to national healthcare priorities such as accessibility, patient-centred care, or specialist services?

Question: Can you speak to any community health, CSR, or patient outreach programmes that the organisation has initiated or supported under your leadership?
Answer: Under my leadership, we have initiated several community health programs, including free health screenings and educational workshops. These initiatives aim to raise awareness about preventive healthcare and enhance community well-being. This year, we organised a Health Symposium that brought together health experts from various fields. We have also established a partnership with the government, allowing emaSwati to receive quality healthcare locally instead of relying on neighbouring countries, which has significantly reduced the financial burden on the government. To further enhance accessibility, we offer special rates for government patients, making private healthcare more affordable for emaSwati. Additionally, we have collaborated with the World Health Organisation by providing basic life support training to their team.
